As we near the Thanksgiving holiday, I am pausing to give thanks for the people God has brought into my life. I have a treasure of husband and friends who enrich my life simply by being who they are and who fill my life with fun and purpose. I also thank God for you, sisters and brothers in Christ, for your partnership in what really matters in this life: putting hands and feet to the gospel, sharing God's love with people you know and those you will never meet and living out your discipleship with gusto. As you pull up your chair to the table this Thursday, whether you are with family and friends or having a more solitary holiday, I pray you will pause for a moment to thank God for those who love you deeply. They are the richest treasures on earth.

Many thanks to the congregation of St. Mark, which served 75 to 80 Thanksgiving dinners to our neighbors on Sunday! Many were warmed by the delicious food, served with welcoming smiles. It was a wonderful way to share the love of Christ.
I will be out of the office tomorrow. Billy has Wednesday through Friday off, so I will be spending time with him. If you need to get in touch with me during that time, please email or phone.

for his steadfast love endures forever."
